Lanoco Specialty Wire Products, Inc., Sutton, Massachusetts, has acquired Wachusett Wire Co., Worcester, Massachusetts, which now is operating as The Wachusett Wire Co., Inc., an independent affiliate of Lanoco. The Wachusett Wire Co. Inc. is a stainless fine wire producer that has been in business since 1948. In addition to stainless steel, the firm manufactures a variety of other alloys including monel, inconel, brass, nickel silver, aluminum and hard drawn carbon. Wachusett Wire has braiding capabilities and has performed toll work for larger wire mills over the years.
